Watch the video and then try making a Ojos de Dios. If you don't get it see if your neighbor has understood. Some students have made these before and can help you. If you understand then offer to help someone that has not understood at your table.

Make a Ojo de Dios, write a sentence and turn in your God's Eye to be photographed before you take it home today.

Look at the licorice stick and what pattern/texture do you see?
What pattern can you creatively create with licorice on your gold star?
Create a pattern on your star with black sharpie and fill in colors next.
Then eat your licorice stick. 
I'll photograph your star, give you string, you write a sentence about it and then you can take it home.
